The Punch House Band is a five piece contemporary folk band playing a dynamic mixture of originals and folk standards. The band has strong connections with Norwich's Crude Apache Theatre Company three of them being long-time members. Their mission statement is to celebrate the culture of the Eastern Region both in their own songs and in their choice of covers. The line-up is: Leighton Williams - vocals/guitar, Richard Brook - Banjo, vocal, Tim Lane - guitar vocal, George McKay - double bass, and Jason Thompson - percussion. Their music has been described as powerful, well-arranged acoustic folk with strong harmonies.
