Crazy P (DJ) - plus live headliner Franc Moody, Pillowtalk, Olivia Nelson & More

Crazy P (DJ)

Fusing slinky underground disco, deep electronic throbs, shimmering pop moments; this is dance music with a voice, a heart, and soul.Seven albums, a career spanning over 20 years and yet Crazy P remain stronger and more relevant than ever. Funny how the tides of time turn, and how the sounds of a typically British type of house and disco are now more du jour then ever before. Way before the rise in prominence of disco, house and soulful pop Crazy P have spearheaded the revival (and perpetuation) of these sounds since 1997.

Franc Moody

Franc Moody are London duo Ned Franc and Jon Moody, who embrace disco-funk in glittering dance-pop productions, emboldened by Daft Punk’s studio forays into the recreation of classic disco and funk on Random Access Memories.

Their sound is DIY-driven, which involves finding out that recording the perfect handclap takes three pairs of hands and one pair of Marigold gloves. Salt shakers, radiators and the sound of zipping flies have also been used in their recordings.

Pillowtalk

PillowTalk is more than a whispered chat before bed but is that groovy, soulful, electronic music band who have been gifting you songs from the heart since 2011. Born that summer in the Lower Haight District of San Francisco by members Sammy Doyle, Michael Tello, Ryan Williams and Shane Duryea, their music fuses the sounds of classic R&B, boogie and disco with underground house and indie dance.
Their 2018 sophomore album release on PillowTalk Music, “All People” received key international and domestic notoriety from press, radio, fans and fellow Dj’s. A cumulation of twelve fine-tuned songs written and compiled over the lifespan of the band's career whilst traveling around the world creating in remote studios with friends and fellow musicians. The album’s lead song, “All People” focuses on a message of peace and political awareness, prompting global equality for all people regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs or creed.

Olivia Nelson

At its heart, 23-year-old Olivia Nelson’s modern era R&B is an exercise in telling stories. Her debut “For You” EP recalls the end of a significant relationship in her life and through love songs, stories of heartbreak and cautionary tales, Olivia finds an outlet for her emotion

LOYAL

LOYAL are a band, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma; but perhaps that's the key. A Brighton-based collective whose ranks are occasionally swollen by a whole host of auxiliary members – including a five piece choir – to try and understand exactly what it is would be to miss the point.Having gained acclaim from the likes of i-D, Stereogum, Pigeons & Planes, BBC Radio 1 and racked up millions of streams online, fast rising collective LOYAL have revealed their debut EP, 'Light Up For You'. A sunburst of widescale electronic pop, the track serves to further cement just why LOYAL have set the blogosphere ablaze since their debut.

Cub Sport

Cub Sport are an independent pop group from Brisbane, Australia. In September 2017, the group released their sophomore album BATS. The deeply personal collection of songs chronicle lead singer Tim Nelson’s journey of coming out as gay and admitting his love for fellow band member Sam (Bolan) Netterfield. The two are now happily engaged. Cub Sport's openness with fans has helped develop a culture of inclusion around the band and has seen their unique brand of emotionally-charged pop connect with listeners all around world.

They have been featured in Billboard, Alternative Press, Nylon, and The Fader and have been invited to support both The 1975 and Vance Joy on their arena tours.

Caswell

Her singular sound- a mix of downtempo electronic soul and pop with a tangible jazz influence- fuses past and present, and has developed into a rich interplay of music and lyrics owed in large part to her songwriting. Having self-released her debut EP The Shadow Aspect in late 2017, her music has now accumulated over half a million Spotify streams and has received support from BBC Introducing Suffolk, Amazing Radio and Reprezent radio."The pop newcomer has swiftly become a viral success"- Clash Magazine

Gus Harvey

Female singer-songwriter Gus Harvey was first introduced to the world back in 2017 when she penned a tune of female solidarity for her debut single “Witches.” Rooted in hip-hop and experimental jazz, Harvey likes to blur the lines between song and spoken word. The songstress is enigmatic in her sultrily effortless delivery, and with her warm but haunting sound she has this ability to follow listeners even after the music stops playing.
