Ryan Gosling stars in this stylish, moody action thriller about a Hollywood stunt driver who moonlights as a getaway driver for criminals. On the face of it, it’s another film about an independently contracted getaway driver who has his own set of ‘rules’, however if the plot sounds formulaic, the cinematography, minimalistic dialogue, acting and direction make this film shine as something truly special.
