Win the Complete Second Season of Treme!

From the award-winning writers of The Wire, HBO Home Entertainment announces the 30 April 2012 exclusive Blu-ray release of the Second Season of the two-time Emmy® & Grammy® Awards nominee TREME, to be followed by the DVD on 28 May 2012. You can win a copy of the Blu-Ray on release by answering the question below...

The first series followed the lives of New Orleanians, three months after Hurricane Katrina hit the state, and forced a new perspective from the residents, all done with the inimitable character and distinguishable sound that New Orleans is famous for. In Season Two, over a year has passed since hurricane Katrina, but the residents are finding it harder to rebuild their lives, much less hold on to their special cultural identity.

Some have left to become expatriates in places like New York. Others have been forced to sell their homes to outside developers. Crime and drug use are up, corruption and graft has dried up money intended for recovery. So why bother to stay? Because it’s New Orleans, and New Orleans must go on.

The series features cameos by notable real-life New Orleanians and the talents of many of its extraordinary musicians and artists including local legend John Boutte as well as Rappers Juvenile, Big Freedia and Katy Red to name but a few. With all this talent, it’s unsurprising that the series received two nominations for the 2011 Grammy® Awards (Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media, Best Song Written for Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media for Steve Earle’s ‘This City’).

Get the new season early on Blu-ray for a crystal clear hi-definition picture and to experience the ultimate feel of the amazing jazz & blues soundtrack. Packed with special features, the Blu-ray exclusively presents “Down in the Treme” a featurette looking at the music and culture of New Orleans with an interactive guide, along with ‘Episode Previews and Recaps’.

To win, answer the following question and email your answer to emma@outlineonline.co.uk by May 7th.
