Rope Store - Up Until Now

For the last two years Rope Store have been my favourite retro-inspired band, and whilst they have released a couple of vinyl singles in that time there has never been a full and comprehensive collection to have and to hold. Until now. Twelve songs, including my personal favourites Stop, All of You, and Never Too Late To Love, are included. Jason and Gemma are joined by selected Rope Store personnel on these original versions, all recorded within the bowels of Old School Studios, as well as The Emergency Centre, a joyous all-hands-on-deck six minute instrumental live jam. And  all presented on a limited edition cassette tape, no less.

Bring back memories of mile-long ribbons of thin brown tape spewing themselves from your car dashboard as your favourite Blue Oyster cult album is slowly mangled to death. Re-live the experience of inserting a biro into the tape spool in a vain attempt to salvage your favourite songs. Except, of course, that will never happen with this tape. Mr Jason will have sourced only the finest materials on which to record their magical songs. 

Every music lover deserves at least one cassette pet. Up Until Now is certainly mine.
