Add to calendarWhat is it? Dance Lab is for people aged 50+ who are looking to gain new dance and movement skills in a supportive, accessible format.
What will I get from taking part? Build strength and mobility whilst developing your technique, creativity and musicality at an appropriate pace and level. Sessions are designed to enhance wellbeing through an exploration of improvisation, physical exercises and choreographic skills. You’ll take away new skills and ideas for developing your own dance practice.
Who is leading the project? Sessions will be led by highly experienced dance practitioner Rosa Kentwood.
I’m not sure I can afford to take part. If cost is a barrier to taking part, we have £10 bursary spaces available. To find out if you are eligible, go to https://norwichtheatre.org/my-theatre/
Do I need any particular skills or experience to take part? No previous dance experience is required.
I have additional needs. What support is available? These sessions are intended to be accessible for everyone, if you have accessibility requirements of any kind, get in touch to discuss how best we can support your place on the programme. takepart@norwichtheatre.org
