Add to calendarPlay in a Day is a fun, welcoming introduction to theatre‑making, designed especially for home‑educated young people. Through games, movement and creative exploration, participants work together to create and perform a short, original piece of theatre in just one day.
The session begins with inclusive warm‑ups and drama games before exploring performance through acting, directing, movement and physical theatre. Everyone is encouraged to share ideas and shape the final piece, which will be performed at the end of the session for family members.

No pressure, no auditions and no expectations — Play in a Day is about enjoyment, creativity and working together. Previous performing experience is not required.
Play in a Day is led by a Norwich Theatre Practitioners who are experienced in working with young people and creating inclusive, engaging workshops.
