We are providing a fresh look at the Sculpture Park for 2026. There are new sculptures and five new tours to enjoy. Join one of our knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteer guides for a walking tour through our beautiful parkland.

Discover more about important works by notable artists such as Henry Moore, Dame Elisabeth Frink, Sir Anthony Caro, Ro Robertson and Sir Antony Gormley. As well as formal sculpture gardens, the Sculpture Park offers the tranquillity of the Broad and Yare river valley and dense urban modernist architecture, designed by leading architects such as Norman Foster, Denys Lasdun and Rick Mather.   Hidden Sculptures Come on an exciting new tour that uncovers some of the Sculpture Park’s lesser-known works. Discover Variations on a Square by Henry H Clyne and Extrapolation by Lilian Lijn hidden behind the ziggurats, One for Bristol by John Hoskin beyond the university buildings, and Laurence Edwards’ Man of Stones between the river and the University Broad, with more along the way!

Length of tour: 60 to 90 minutes depending on the pace of the group. Date and guide: Wednesday 27 May, Bo Davis   Bodies, Beasts and Birds Figures and creatures populate the Sculpture Park. Antony Gormley’s Men and Elisabeth Frink’s Birds stand, stalk and crouch across buildings and landscapes.

Why are they positioned where they are? Why do Gormley and Laurence Edwards create men in metal? Are Frink’s Mirage I and Mirage II birds, beasts, or something else entirely?

Why is John Davies’ Head so large and why are Henry Moore’s figures so often reclining? Explore these questions and many more! Length of tour: 60 to 90 minutes depending on the pace of the group.

Three new sculptures, Beuy’s Oaks, Lightning Rod by Kirstine Roepstorff and Anton Forde’s Tokiwai/Water Adze, explore this relationship in different ways. We invite you to consider these connections alongside other works, including Leiko Ikemura’s Usagi Kannon.
