Another excellent evening at the Holloway.

Hardcore that it is as fun as it is intense and cathartic? Yes, please.

A cracking night of post-punky, riot-grrlesque, doomy catharsis.

A mixed bag where Pavlis enjoyed both supports but was less moved by the headliners than the rest of the crowd.

Nostalgia be damned, Ash are as relevant now as they have ever been.

Pavlis has to apologise for a long delayed review of a scorcher of an EP.

The hottest ticket at Wild Paths 2025 - which Pavlis missed - come back to Norwich. Was it worth the wait? Hell yeah.

This was - perhaps surprisingly - excellent, mind-bending stuff

The music coming from the Waterfront tonight was so damned heavy I’d be unsurprised if it wasn’t warping the Earth’s gravitational fields.

They might not be Pavlis’ thing on record but Earthtone9 deliver the goods live.

A magnificent debut album from a band that has been on Pavlis’ radar for a good while now.

Pavlis may not be a fan of Adams’ recorded work but live it is a different matter.

The urban guerrillas mount their silver machines and rock out (again)

An evening of slowcore-shoegaze-dream pop where the apprentice may have bettered the master.

Old school metal is still alive and well and putting on a show.

Guitar-based indie is alive and well and dammit it is GOOD.

High energy pop-metal: entertaining and fun and exhausting.

Pavlis is blown away by the support but, as talented as the headliner is, it isn’t his thing.

Melancholic fun, perfect for a summer evening, for this reviewer at least.

A decent evening’s entertainment from two acts that should be better known.

Once again, NNF broadens Pavlis’ musical horizons.
