“My name is Axel Loughrey. I am 22 years old. I have been doing this solo project for just over a year now after being kicked out of my band Ruby Red Lips; I decided to keep going solo. I have, since then, recorded 2 EPs and am working on a third one. I was also one of the very few to qualify on the Orange Unsigned act open auditions; after I got through, I met Jo Whiley and played in front of her and an A&R from Universal Records.”
