Chronic Redeye

DJ Chronic is originally from Oxford based reggae sound system DestaNation and hes been mixing since 1992. He makes most of our beats and has a hand in all aspects of production. Chronic is heavily influenced by the early UK hardcore sound and makes beats in many different styles. He also produces under the name 'Spaceface' on Coin Operated records. Redeye is the main emcee of the crew, he has been honing his skills on sound systems at dances around East Anglia spitting on all types of beats and nowadays rips up shows up and down the country. Reds has also been DJing since 19longtime playing ragga jungle, hip hop and dancehall. In the last few years he has turned his hand to production, splitting his time between making hiphop beats and jungle. The crew has grown in numbers over time and we have been doing regular gigs with Crez One (human beatbox), LittleFace, Franko Fraize, Lyrical T and Concrete Roots reggae selectahs - heavyweight sessions! We could be in your area next... We started our own label because we are part of the DIY culture, here doin it for ourselves. Our first CD was a self funded release in 2005 called Seein Red, we did our own distribution and sold all copies that were pressed.
