Clean Bandit
They were off with the audience in their pocket.
They played Norwich’s Sundown Festival, and now they’re back for more! Clean Bandit, with support from Years And Years, packed out the LCR. Years And Years set the night off with an audience of open ears, a spotlit stage and a bright red keyboard. The lads were an awesome support choice, as like Clean Bandit they play a varied set of electro and soul using a multitude of instruments. And then came Clean Bandit, three girls and three guys taking to the stage creating a beautiful blend of electro, house, rock and pop; a barrage of what they like to call ‘electronic chamber music’ for the awed audience. ‘Cologne’ was knocked out of the park first, with light from the glitter ball shining round the room, followed closely by ‘Dust Clears’ and then they were off with the audience in their pocket. As well as their arsenal of instruments Clean Bandit also brought Florence Rawlings and Elisabeth Troy to the stage. These guys don’t pack light, but we wouldn’t want them any other way.
