03/02 – Rings

The third chapter in the horror trilogy sees the return of the cursed video that channels (geddit) an evil, killer spirit through peoples TVs and into their hearts. In a bad way. This time, it’s after a new generation of kids. Presumably ones that haven’t seen the previous shit sequel, because all the good scares were used up in the first part. For fans of the series.

10/02 – Fences

Denzel Washington directs and stars in this highly acclaimed movie based on the Pulitzer Prize winning play of the same name. Fun fact: August Wilson, who wrote the play, also wrote the screenplay for this movie before he passed away in 2005. So, basically, someone’s getting an Oscar.

17/02 – John Wick: Chapter 2

Keanu Reeves returns as suited and booted killing machine, John Wick. This time, after an old friend is threatened by a ruthless ex-associate, John travels to Rome to face-off against the world’s deadliest assassins. The clips of Bill and/or Ted training for this movie have been doing the rounds online for a while now, and fans of fast-paced gunplay are in for a treat.

24/02 – A Cure for Wellness

Oscar winner Gore Verbinski directs this mystery thriller about an ambitious young executive, who is sent to retrieve his company's CEO from an idyllic but mysterious "wellness centre" at a remote location in the Swiss Alps. Things are never that simple, however, and the “treatments” may not be quite what they seem.
