Let's Hear it for Beer

Beer is good. We’re not usually ones to proffer such direct statements, but we know that you and hundreds of people who attend the Norwich Beer Festival every year won’t argue with our sentiment. CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, sees in its 34th annual Beer Festival, and Norwich braces itself for an influx of ale suppers that max out St Andrew’s Hall’s capacity every year.

The Beer Festival doesn’t need any help in promoting the event, which sees sprawling queues winding down the street every year, patiently waiting for the chance to sample one of over 200 cask-conditioned real ales, but it’s worthwhile mentioning that it’s a good time to support all your local real ale establishments while the festival is on. Pubs like The Murderers, the Fat Cat and the Fat Cat Tap, The Rumsey Wells and many more fly the flag all year round.
