A Street Cat Named Bob

A drug addict living on the streets turns his life around after forging a furry friendship with the titular feline. Or, alternatively, a ginger tom’s cheese addiction starts to grow wildly out of control after falling in with a bad crowd whilst out on the streets. Depends on whose friends you ask. Seriously though, this one will hit you right in the feels.

Arrival

Amy Adams (fuck me, she gets around), Forest Whitaker, and Jeremy Renner star in this familiar sounding sci-fi tale about a linguist hired by the army to attempt to communicate with the large, smooth, black space objects that suddenly start appearing around the world. How many are there? About 2001 by my count.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

We join Harry Potter-spinoff character Newt Scamander as he arrives in 1920s New York as part of a global expedition to catalogue magical creatures. As always, there’s a powerful dark wizard on the rage, and armed with this premise they conjure up another FIVE FUCKING WIZARD MOVIES! This is the first, so strap yourself in for more of this jolly nonsense.

Bad Santa 2

Jingle-fucking-bells, it’s that time of year again folks. 13 years after the original, everyone’s favourite faux Father Christmas returns, smelling of cheap booze and cheaper women, and complete with a plan to knock off a Chicago charity on Xmas eve. Lewd, crude, and full of Christmas food. Sorry, that’s me, not the movie.
