Tom Odell @ Thetford Forest

You know Tom Odell; he’s the fella that supplied his track Real Love for a department store chain’s Christmas advertising…you know, the one with the penguins. Since then he’s had a few more tracks picked up for adverts, but hasn’t really been seen much. Tonight we saw him in real life, live in the forest! It’s that time of the year again in Thetford Forest, gig time and Tom was the closing artist for the season, making sure a good send off was had. If it hadn't rained earlier in the day, there could well have been a health and safety issue; Tom and his band were on fire, putting everything they had into each track. This may have seemed like a gig for the mums (and mums in training), but Tom easily makes the grand piano look like the most exciting thing ever.I wanna say Elton John with more swagger and without the crazy costumes. Well worth a watch.
