Located in the heart of Norwich’s historic Tombland, The Lawyer is an upmarket and sophisticated London-style bar. The interior combines traditional with contemporary and has polished floor boards and wood panelled walls. There is an inviting bar with an array of wines, spirits, lagers and real ales for every taste.

Owners David Turnbull and Nick De’Ath set out to create their vision of a London-style bar with traditional standards of exemplary service with a warm welcome throughout the daytime and evening. Our enthusiastic staff are available to answer any questions and can help you organise your perfect event.
The Lawyer, in partnership with The Sugar Hut, one of Norwich’s best loved Thai restaurants, serves authentic Thai food cooked on the premises and served in modern surroundings.

From lighter snack options, Express lunches (1 course £5.95 or 2 courses £8.95) to a tempting array of traditional mouth-watering dishes you can choose as little or as much as you want and eat anywhere. Buffet menus are also available.
Whether you want a quick drink and an Express lunch during the working day or a leisurely few hours catching up with friends old and new, The Lawyer is the perfect place.
