Riding the wave of Ireland’s current folk revival, Niamh Bury is a singer-songwriter from Dublin’s north coast. Alongside artists such as Ye Vagabonds, Joshua Burnside, John Francis Flynn and Lemoncello, she belongs to a new generation reimagining traditional forms through a contemporary lens. Drawing comparisons to Weyes Blood, Cat Power, Joni Mitchell and Nick Drake, Bury pairs balletic vocals with incisive lyrical observations and richly woven melodies, establishing herself as one of Ireland’s most compelling emerging voices.

Her debut album, Yellow Roses, was named Mojo’s No. 3 Folk Album of 2024 and praised by KLOF Magazine as “a record that can lead the charge for the Irish Folk scene at a time when the competition is fierce”. One of the first new artists in almost two decades to sign to the iconic Claddagh Records, Bury now finds her work in the company of Irish cultural greats including The Chieftains, Séamus Heaney and Christy Moore.

In 2027, Bury returns with her highly anticipated second album, Halogen Glow. Recorded and produced in upstate New York with Philip Weinrobe (Adrianne Lenker, Billie Marten, Charlotte Cornfield) and an exceptional ensemble of musicians, the album sees her expand beyond folk, embracing new territories of country, soul and jazz. Exploring themes of love and spiritual awakening, Halogen Glow is warm in both sound and spirit. Its songs carry a sense of calm optimism: steady, reassuring and gently restorative, marking an exciting new chapter for an artist continuing to find fresh possibilities within her sound.

Joe Potter’s song writing is a distillation of a diverse range of influences, from traditional folk to electronic music. Inspiration comes from societal observations as well as personal experiences.

Joe also plays as part traditional folk duo Of the Clay, playing traditional English and Irish songs. In recent years, Joe has been part of the Dublin folk scene and is on the committee of the traditional singing session The Night Before Larry Got Stretched, promoting folk music amongst younger audiences.
