Add to calendarJoin musician David Gray and writer and conservationist Mary Colwell MBE at Norwich Arts Centre for an evening of live music and conversation celebrating World Curlew Day and raising funds for Curlew Action. Propelled to fame through his groundbreaking album, White Ladder, David Gray is one of Britain’s foremost singer-songwriters. Nature is woven through David’s words and music, and he has a particular love of curlews.
Together, Mary and David will follow the birds and their haunting calls from their winter coastlines to the meadows and moors where they breed. Through stories and song, we will discover the lives of these remarkable wading birds, the landscapes they inhabit, the challenges they face and the hope offered by the people working to protect them.
