So here we go again, it’s day three of the Rock N Roll Circus and day two for me and the sunshine is out following yesterday’s downpour that would’ve put a totally different perspective on proceedings for the attendees and vendors.

Ever since this well executed event took place on Norwich soil last year, I had eagerly been waiting to see what bands will be performing this year and as with previous years, the line up most certainly hasn’t disappointed. There is something for everyone over the next four days, but day one is what today is all about and it’s as good an excuse as any to close the working week off on a Thursday lunchtime to be able to get into the city and take in the artists on show.

What a wonderful evening, it really has been a gig of quite epic proportions, that will live long in the memory bank for those of us that are in the room

Maybe I was just expecting too much? I really should’ve stayed at home.

They remain a real class act and one thing is for certain, there is plenty more life in this band yet.

If you put Kate Bush and Bjork in a room, it may just come out sounding something like this?

What a truly great performer and beautiful man Collins is as he bows out, for good, from playing live.

It’s been absolutely brilliant to hear these classic tracks from a golden era of British music this evening.

It’s been a blast, an occasion to truly savour in the Royal families back garden.

If a certain Danish brand of lager did music festivals, they’d do this one.

It has been a real we-were-there moment. Right now, it feels like we are witnessing something extremely special.

He most certainly still has the power, judging by tonight’s performance.

Memories flooding back in of what an incredible band they have been over the past four decades.

They look the part, they sound the part, they are the part. They are the real deal.

Rather ashamedly this is the first time that I have seen them live! However, it won’t be the last.

After almost forty years the Eight-Legged Groove Machine is still cruising along very nicely indeed and long may that continue to be the case. Giddy up Poppies. Hup, Hup, Hup, Hup and away!

It’s been an absolute pleasure to be in the room tonight to have witnessed a classic album being played out in the flesh

Wow! What a great band Doves continue to be.

It has been a very compelling show. We have been gripped by his every move.

Feeder are greeted with rapturous applause as they enter the stage and launch immediately into opener ELF. It buzzes with excitement
