Bad Grammar & CLAWS @ NAC, Norwich

Warming up for a slot on the Introducing stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend, CLAWS open the show in fine punky, grungy, alt.pop style. This is the fourth time I've seen 'em and they grow in confidence with each performance. Channelling Ari Up and Poly Styrene in her vox, Josie is a star in the making and the band as a whole are developing into something special. (9/10)

With a heavy heart, I have to say this could be one of Bad Grammar's  last shows, with Ben and Lucy having announced they are going their separate ways, at least for a while. What a way to sign off though! Ben and Lucy look like they're having a ball throughout and the feral heavy, grunge-blues has never sounded so good. I'm going to miss 'em, I'm going to miss 'em a LOT. Here’s hoping this is a sabbatical and not a permanent split. (10/10)

Due to an early start tomorrow, I couldn’t hang around for headliners God Damn but, having seen them before, I am sure they blew the roof off the Arts Centre.
