Sundara Karma, Ten Tonnes, Pleasure Inc.

Sundara Karma are truly one of those must-see bands who simply will not fail to set alight everyone’s indie rock flames. The band has been a favourite of mine for years now and seeing them live really was an incredible experience. Their sound is ingrained as one of the soundtracks to my teenage years and on Thursday night I was reminded why.  

Support for the night began with Norwich locals Pleasure Inc. who always know how to look after a crowd and their performance at the Waterfront was no exception. Their energy is always tangible, a group of true performers who have mastered the art of stage presence- it's clear Pleasures are on the brink of something truly awesome. Next up was Ten Tonnes, who treated the crowd to his array of indie tunes. I really enjoyed his performance, having been a fan of his for a few years now, however it seemed that not many in the crowd were familiar with his music, so this was the perfect introduction Norwich needed to the indie star.  

Sundara Karma appeared on stage to the sound of She Said, immediately at ease in Norwich’s Waterfront. Their unique sound speaks for itself with this night being one of many sold out gigs on their tour. The eclectic setlist didn’t disappoint die-hard fans, with all the favorites including Indigo Puff and Explore, as well as a range of tracks from their new album. Sundara Karma are no stranger to larger venues, but I think the intimate feel of the Waterfront suited their vibe perfectly.
