This album spoke to me in such a specific way, that I now feel the need to rant and rave all about me and my life and how I am trying to “do what I want to do with my life because it’s what I should be doing with my life”. But enough about me; this album is superb!
The stripped back, simplistic sound is reminiscent of the heady, whimsical guitar bands of the '90’s. The light hearted, twinkling melodies created by the riffs and synth gel exceptionally well with the vocals of Rachel Kenedy which I can only describe as haunting and full bodied with a beautiful sense of delicacy and control.The tracks that stood out for me were Forget the Fall and All Over Again, simply because I love the carefree, matter of fact attitude that the band put across through their music, doubled up with the catchy rhythm and stylised composure.
I can relate to this album in so many ways, and all I can do is praise and recommend it, simple as that!
