Takeda are a 3-piece band playing grunge-folk. Something like a heavy Big Thief. With a rich heritage of folk songs and tunes colliding with the gritty fuzzed guitar tones from grunge and hardcore their music is unique. In June and July Takeda completed a 9 date UK tour concluding with a sell out hometown show. They now look forward to releasing their first single together and touring the UK again in October.
