Burnt TOAST is a late night evening of poetry & spoken word from the country’s best writers. Come along for an hour of funny, thoughtful & entertaining performance.

Headline: Roger Robinson (TBC)

Roger Robinson is one of the most versatile and internationally respected dub poets. He was chosen by Decibel as one of 50 writers who have influenced the black-British writing canon. His most recent collection ‘A Portable Paradise’ is shortlisted for the T.S Eliot award.

Support: Poppy Stevens

Poppy Stevens is a poet and actor. She trained at East 15 drama school and leads poetry & spoken word workshops with young offenders around Norfolk. She lives in Norwich.

Host: Lewis Buxton

Lewis Buxton is a poet, performer & arts producer. He was selected as one of the Poetry School & Nine Arches Press Primers Volume 4 poets and been published in Magma, Ambit & Oxford Poetry. He is a Norwich Arts Centre writer-in-residence and currently lives in Norwich
