Spoken word and wonderful live music
A triple-bill exploring a comparison of settings non-ornithological bird poems by Devon-based poet Peter Oswald, composed by Hugh Nankivell and performed by Two Ones, and very much ornithological poems by Colin Simms about the hen harrier, composed by Chris Dowding and performed by ALATI.
Opening with 'other voices', a short spoken word performance by Tony Whitehead, the programme will feature Hugh's minimalist expressionist settings, performed with Pat Allison. They are also two halves of the band Natural Causes.
