We are very excited to be taking over Epic Studios on the first evening of Wild Paths. This will be our biggest party to date and we have been working very hard to bring a really special lineup to Norwich.
Gilles Peterson + MC General Rubbish (DJ Set)
Gilles Peterson is a broadcaster, DJ and record collector who’s played a pivotal role in supporting forward-thinking underground music in the UK and beyond over the past three decades. He hosts weekly primetime Saturday afternoon show on BBC Radio 6 Music that’s one of the broadcaster’s most popular music shows, helms independent record label Brownswood Recordings, and is the founder of online radio station Worldwide FM
DEBONAIR (NTS)
Over the last decade DEBONAIR has carved out a reputation as one of London’s most essential DJs. Having dedicated herself to the city’s scene by serving as Programme Director of influential radio station NTS, melted minds at iconic spaces such as Tate Modern and London Fashion Week and has pushed boundaries in the club with her signature brew of EBM, italo-disco, raw techno, post-punk and vintage house.
Girls of the Internet (Live)
Girls Of The Internet have swiftly risen up the electronic music ranks since their debut release four years ago on Luke Solomon’s Classic Music Company. Known for an eclectic disco-inspired sound both behind the decks and in the studio, their productions have found a welcome home on Defected and Heist Recordings, as well as two self-released and critically acclaimed albums. With support from DJ’s like Nemone, The Blessed Madonna and Axel Boman, and accolades such as a BBC 6 Music ‘Album Of The Year’ and a mix for Apple Music/Beats One’s ‘One Mix’ series; the group show no signs of slowing down. Drawing inspiration from the past 50 years of dance music, Girls’ music joins the dots between disco, house, garage, techno and dub – creating something that glances back into dance music’s history, whilst keeping it’s eyes firmly on the future.
