On Saturday 2nd May, music promoters Sonic Wave and pioneering agroforestry farm Wakelyns join forces to launch 'Music Suppers', a monthly supper club pairing live music with delicious organic food from Silva Kitchen & Bakery.
The first event features quirky psychedelic-folk duo Lassie, who’re Camille Dávila on guitar and Emily Winng on drums. Expect lyrics inspired by folklore and surreal storytelling with stomping, unhinged country rhythms and hypnotic, reverb-soaked ballads, that all channel the spirit of Talking Heads, The Roches and Syd Barrett. Their lilting melodies, rich harmonies and theatrical flair will bring a touch of magic to the farm.
Plus a delicious two course seasonal vegetarian or vegan supper, prepared with ingredients grown at Wakelyns and from local food producers. These events will run over the summer as part of Wakelyns Activity Saturdays.

The music is curated by Sonic Wave, showcasing new music blending nu-folk and world with a pinch of jazz and electronic.
