I thoroughly enjoyed the show

Mayday Parade @ UEA

On the 28th of January, Florida’s alternative rock five piece Mayday Parade stormed the grounds of UEA covering songs from their newly released album Black Lines. Mayday Parade have always had a major reaction from the Norwich crowds and Thursday night was no different with dedicated fans rocking up to the venue hours early for their exclusive VIP treatment. It was clear to see the show was highly anticipated.

The Maine covered the show as main support and really got the crowd raring to go and prepared for when Mayday Parade came on. Mayday Parade opened with one of their latest racks, One Of Them Will Destroy The Other. This song is much heavier and stronger than any songs on previous albums, and it was clear to see the band were setting an example of how much they have changed. The band covered songs from their earlier albums too, such as Terrible Things which meant there was something for everyone who attended.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show and there wasn't a dull moment with the crowd constantly moving and singing along.

8/10
